Brittani Yriarte is a Political Science major and minor in Middle Eastern and North African Studies. She is an honors student and member of both Golden Key Society and Order of Omega. Brittani has been active in multiple on-campus organizations such as Pre-Law Society and Bruin Republicans. She has served as a Project Director for the Academic Affairs Commission of student government and as a member of the Academic Freedom Committee of the Academic Senate for two years. In the fall of 2007, Brittani worked as an intern in France for the Department of State after studying abroad during the summer. Brittani aspires to go to law school after graduating in 2009 and to practice International Business Law. Eventually, Brittani would like to become a federal judge or work for the Department of Justice. Brittani was confirmed as a Justice on the UCLA Judicial Board in 2007. She has taken Honors Constitutional Law at Georgetown University and has a background in International Business Law from UCLA. She was also elected Justice at Girl’s State in 2005. Brittani views the law as the foundation of American society, and an essential pillar in preserving the ideals of justice and freedom.
